The Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Digital Product & Design with a dotted line into Marketing, you will contribute to the development and delivery of Fairstone’s public facing marketing websites. As an experienced web developer, you will be 100% hands-on and work hand in glove with the Digital Marketing Manager and Product Manager

  • Transform and maintain Fairstone’s current public facing websites.
  • Help deliver search engine optimisation (SEO) strategy as defined by the Digital Marketing Manager with the goal of increasing web traffic and new client conversion to achieve ambitious growth targets.
  • Support the marketing team to optimise web pages for maximum speed, scalability, and SEO.
  • Use PHP(WordPress), JavaScript, CSS, and HTML to develop visually impressive page designs.
  • Take designs created in Figma and bring them to life – having a keen eye for detail is critical.
  • Create webpages which are mobile optimised and responsive.
  • Contributing to, and following, software development best practices.
  • Taking ownership of delivery of work assigned.
  • Contributing to Daily Standup ceremonies.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with other teams (Marketing).
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.
  • Share ideas on improvements to the Web Development Process.

  • PHP, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, SQL.
  • WordPress experience.
  • An understanding and some experience in SEO with a willingness to learn more.
  • Experience working with Databases.
  • Some familiarity using a CLI.
  • Software and application architecture.
  • Knowledge of domains and DNS records.
  • Figma.
  • ReactJS.
  • React Native.
  • Azure (Exposure in any area would be a bonus).
  • C#, .NET core.
