The Role

The role requires working closely with advisers providing technical assessments and reports, manage complex cases and find solutions. Act as a mentor for other paraplanning members to help improve their technical knowledge and ability.

Qualifications

 

  • Write complex and detailed reports.
  • Assist the adviser by calculating pension carry forwards, taper annual allowances, LTA, CGT, Bond withdrawal calculations.
  • Research for pension and investment switching.
  • Analysing clients’ circumstances to produce specific estate planning recommendations i.e. variety of trusts.
  • Write Business Property Relief recommendation reports and research.
  • Help improve the technical knowledge with the current paraplanners.

 

  • The candidate must have worked in a similar technical senior paraplanning role and can communicate complex strategies to advisers and clients.
  • Must have good report writing and computer skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Have Defaqto, FE Analytics and Cash Calc experience.

 

  • Diploma level 4 qualification.
