The role

Fairstone is seeking candidates for a winter internship opportunity that is open to both aspiring junior business analysts and wealth planning interns.

This internship program will take place during the winter months, with the possibility of extending into part-time work as you complete your final year studies. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop your skills in the field of wealth management.

Junior business analyst

Wealth planning intern
  • Support the business analysts in their day-to-day activities.
  • Maintenance of CRM system and management of research processes.
  • Support the production and distribution of bespoke reports for partnership opportunities.
  • Gather information via direct communication with product providers.
  • Liaise with advisers to provide a holistic overview of a client’s financial position.
  • Analysis and commentary on client investments, and their performance in the context of client specific objectives and the wider market.

 

Applies to both roles

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A good analytical mindset, with high attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure when required.
  • The ability to present information and results in a concise and consistent manner.

  • An understanding of the financial advice space, regulatory environment and investment management processes and systems would be useful but not essential.
