Fairstone, one of the UK’s leading financial advice firms, has reported another year of strong growth, according to its latest annual results.

The group, which provides financial planning, mortgage and wealth management services to over 125,000 clients, saw a 17% year-on-year increase in revenue to £179.3m in the year to the end of December 2025.

During that time, client assets under advice rose by 35% to hit £21.4bn at the end of 2025.

Since the end of last year, that figure has grown to more than £23bn as Fairstone continues to deliver growth through a clear strategy of organic expansion and targeted acquisitions.

The group has invested in its UK and Ireland network, establishing regional hubs that are being developed into fully operational centres.

Fairstone is developing regional hubs that bring together teams, management and support functions, creating greater scale and enabling local offices to benefit from shared resources, expertise and a broader range of services.

Supported by these hubs, the Group’s network of local and satellite offices is designed to ensure its services remain within easy reach of 95% of its clients.

During 2026, the group officially opened new hubs in Aberdeen, to service the North of Scotland, and in Cardiff, to service Wales, bringing the total number of Fairstone hubs to 13 across the UK and Ireland.

Fairstone’s Downstream Buy-Out (DBO) acquisition programme has already brought more than 100 independent financial advice and investment management firms into the group.

Since the start of 2026, the pace of acquisition has stepped up with nine firms being acquired in the first four months of the year.

The group’s investment management activities experienced a step-change in growth during 2025 with assets directly managed by Fairstone rising by almost 60% to £4.3bn, helped by the launch of its flagship fund, Nova.

That figure has since grown to £5.75bn during the course of the current year.

The group’s success has been underpinned by significant investment in its leadership.

Former Aldermore Bank CEO Steven Cooper CBE (pictured above) was appointed as Fairstone’s Chief Executive Officer in November last year.

During the course of this year, Fairstone has further strengthened its senior team with appointments including wealth management digital transformation expert Oli Plant as Chief Operations Officer and experienced M&A executive Scott Kirkby as Chief Corporate Development Officer.

The enhanced leadership team, investment in existing operations and further strategic acquisitions will drive Fairstone’s ambition to double the size of its business to £40bn of client assets under management by the end of 2030.

Fairstone CEO Steven Cooper CBE said: “2025 was another successful year for Fairstone and reflects the hard work of colleagues across the Group and the trust our clients place in us.

“We have continued to build on that momentum in 2026, implementing some significant changes.

“We have strengthened our leadership team, invested in technology and capability, expanded our presence in key strategic locations across the UK and Ireland and continued to attract high-quality advisers, businesses and clients to Fairstone.

“As well as the strength and capabilities of our colleagues, our commitment to independent advice remains central to our success.

“We believe clients are best served when advisers have access to whole-of-market choice and can recommend solutions based on individual needs rather than product restrictions.

“The continued growth in client assets, together with more than 15,000 Trustpilot reviews and an ‘Excellent’ rating, are strong indicators of the confidence that our clients have in us and in the services we provide.

“The market continues to evolve, but we are in a strong position and I am confident about the opportunities ahead.

“We have a clear strategy, a growing set of capabilities and a business that is increasingly well placed to serve more clients, attract more advisers and accelerate our growth through 2027 and beyond.”
