The Role

As the FP&A lead you will be covering 4 pillars of the business; group reporting, budgeting and forecasting, business partnering and financial ERP development. Assisted by 3 more junior members of the team, who focus on business partnering, group reporting and budgeting and forecasting. It is expected you will build and maintain relationships with the central support teams and acquired business stakeholders across the organisation.

will be the primary owner of the group budget and forecasting process, interacting with all stakeholders across the business to apply insight and accuracy. This is then supported by the monthly production of management accounts vs budget for all head office teams with a detailed understanding of their individual performance.

Additionally, you will play a key role in analysing the group’s big data. Utilising the implemented BI tool, you will play an integral role in the rollout of accurate and meaningful MI to key stakeholders around the business.

Qualifications

 

  • Ownership of group budgeting and forecasting.
  • Production of monthly departmental management accounts.
  • Business Partner to one of 4 divisions within the group.
  • Oversee group reporting requirements using the implemented BI tool.
  • Manage group data integrity and take action to resolve any anomalies.
  • Owner of all financial driven systems including SAP B1, Tableau, SAP Concur, Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Improve efficiencies within the finance team and wider group.
  • Be an integral part of any financial system upgrades and projects.
  • Ownership of stakeholder relationships relevant to financial systems and processes.

 

  • Completion, or progressing towards, chartered accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, etc).
  • Advanced level of experience in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to relay information clearly to stakeholders.
  • (desired) Exposure to Tableau or similar Business Intelligence tools.
  • (desired) Exposure to SQL or similar programming languages.
