The Role

An exciting opportunity to develop the outcomes for over 1,200 colleagues at Fairstone awaits a personable, knowledgeable financial services professional with a strong learning and development background.

You will be ensuring that new advisers to Fairstone are suitably skilled through inductions and ongoing training, whilst keeping a close eye on the future and assisting the next generation of advisers with qualification support and mentoring. Delivering to wide range of audiences, you will be comfortable liaising with all level of stakeholders one-on-one and in group sessions, as well as to our third-party contacts. As an L&D professional, this is a remote role with training solutions delivered remotely as well as face to face. You will also be comfortable to travel to assist both our new and existing colleagues around the UK.

Qualifications

 

  • Supporting, training, and guiding learners and developing their personal and professional attitudes, skills, and abilities.
  • Supporting successful completion of industry qualifications at both Diploma and Advanced level.
  • Leading the development, planning and delivery of licensing events and masterclasses to support the Fairstone adviser population.
  • Leading the day to day running of the Fairstone Academy and provide input for future development.
  • Mentoring and development of the training team.
  • Assisting Head of Training in ongoing projects as and when required.

 

 

  • The candidate will have experience within a training environment and understand training needs across the training cycle.
  • The candidate will have experience of development and coaching of colleagues to achieve successful learning outcomes and show a passion towards learning and development.
  • The candidate will have a strong technical background and be comfortable towards self-learning new regulation and internal processes.
  • The candidate will be adept at building strong relationships with stakeholders in order to achieve successful organisational objectives.
  • Must be prepared to travel across the UK where required.

 

  • Must be Level 4 qualified in financial services.
  • Preferably Chartered or making progress towards.
  • A training/L&D qualification is desirable.
