The role

A brilliant paraplanning opportunity to join our existing team. You will provide support to financial advisers and their clients by helping to create, prepare and review a clients financial plan, in the form of a recommendation report. As part of a team you will work in conjunction with colleagues to assist the business in achieving its goals.

Qualifications

 

  • Work closely with the financial adviser.
  • Analyse client information within a fact find.
  • Extract and apply client existing plan information from various sources.
  • Conduct appropriate research.
  • Apply technical knowledge and compose a recommendation report.
  • Use of software to support the recommendation.

 

 

  • Experienced paraplanner – ideally with 2 years + in the role of actual report writing.
  • Able to ‘problem solve’ and formulate solutions.
  • Excellent knowledge of key areas of financial planning, to include trusts, personal taxation, pension legislation, protection, and investment principles.
  • Attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

  • Level 4 Diploma or working towards this.
